Job function
As a brand manager, you are in charge of the day-to-day management of Absinthe. Your day will revolve entirely around the expansion of Absinthe as a brand. Composing the product line, negotiating with manufacturers and promoting the products to customers and distributors: it’s all part of the job.
To stay up to date with the latest trends in interior design and lighting, you will be visiting expositions both at home and abroad. At those expositions, you will look for new opportunities and connect with the right people to get the job done.
You will also follow up the existing sales channels (dmlights, bol.com, own website) and explore new courses of action for the distribution of Absinthe products.
We expect you to…
- be extremely fluent in both Dutch and English.
- have a master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a similar degree, or to have equivalent knowledge through experience.
- be a real innovator. You are the first to spot the newest trends and the first to respond to them.
- have awesome social skills. You are the contact person of Absinthe, both within and outside the company.
- have a feeling for interior design and lighting. Extensive knowledge of the European market is especially useful.
- have a strong personality. You have to be able to communicate and negotiate on a high level.
- be able to meet deadlines.
- place great value on quality. The products of Absinthe will only appear on the shelves if they have passed your quality control.
- have a first experience in a similar function.
It would be awesome if you…
- are able to work with graphic design software (Photoshop, InDesign, Publisher).
- know your way around the social media world.
- have prior experience in the lighting sector.
