A glass in front of the lamp protects against dust and splashing water. That makes the spotlight suitable for bathroom zone 2 and for sheltered outdoor areas. The Clickfit Deep Small, without glass, is intended for dry indoor spaces.

Ø45-47 mm cut-out
For a Ø45-47 mm cut-out. Leaf springs hold the spotlight behind a solid or hollow ceiling board. The spotlight is 32 mm high, with a 4 mm rim below the ceiling; the recess depth depends on the light source you choose.

GU10 socket in powder-coated aluminium, black
GU10 socket for one LED lamp with a 35 mm reflector diameter — the size the trade calls MR11 — or an LED module, up to 35W. The light source is not supplied and clicks into the luminaire from below. Housing in black powder-coated aluminium; also available in white. 5-year warranty.
Application
IP54 GU10 recessed spotlight, Ø45-47 mm cut-out, black
IP54 means protected against dust and against splashing water from any direction; the glass in front of the lamp makes that possible. That is sufficient for bathroom zone 2 and for a sheltered outdoor area. Above the bath or shower rim, zone 1 applies with a stricter requirement; check that against the local wiring rules before you install.
The luminaire connects directly to 230V mains, without a driver, and is Class II. The GU10 socket is designed for a 35 mm LED lamp or an LED module, up to 35W (neither supplied); the recess depth depends on the light source you choose. Do not cover the luminaire with insulation.

Which light sources are compatible, and are they included?
The Clickfit Deep Small IP54 has a GU10 socket for one LED lamp with a 35 mm reflector diameter, the size the trade calls MR11, or for an LED module. Both click into the luminaire. The light source is not supplied. The luminaire is rated for a maximum of 35W, so lumen output, colour temperature, beam angle and dimmability depend on the light source you choose. In a damp room, pick a lamp rated for it.
How much recess depth do I need?
For the Clickfit Deep Small IP54 the recess depth depends on whether you choose a GU10 lamp or an LED module, so there is no fixed figure. The cut-out is Ø45-47 mm and leaf springs hold the spotlight behind a solid or hollow ceiling board. The spotlight itself is 32 mm high, with a 4 mm rim below the ceiling.

Does the black version differ technically from the other colours?
No. Dimensions, cut-out, socket, leaf springs, IP54 and Class II are identical; only the powder coating differs, and the price is the same. The Clickfit Deep Small IP54 is also available in white.
