Ø80 mm cut-out, leaf springs
For a Ø80 mm cut-out. Leaf springs hold the Rim behind the ceiling board, solid or hollow. Below the ceiling, the Ø90 mm Rim remains visible. The Core is 18 mm high; 32 mm overall including the leaf springs.

GU10 socket, light source not supplied
GU10 socket for one LED lamp with a 50 mm reflector diameter (PAR16) or an LED module, up to 35W. The recess depth depends on the light source you choose. The lamp is changed from below, without opening the ceiling.

Powder-coated aluminium in black
Rim and Core in black powder-coated aluminium. Also available entirely in white, with the same dimensions and cut-out. 5-year warranty.
Application
GU10 recessed spotlight, Ø80 mm cut-out, Core 18 mm high, black
IP20, for dry indoor spaces. The spotlight connects directly to 230V mains, without a driver, and is Class II, so no earth connection is needed.
The GU10 socket is designed for a 50 mm LED lamp or an LED module, not supplied, so you choose the colour temperature and beam angle yourself. Maximum 35W. Keep at least 0.5 m from the illuminated object and do not cover the luminaire with insulation.

Which lamp does it take, and is it included?
A GU10 LED lamp with a 50 mm reflector diameter, the size the trade calls PAR16, or an LED module. The light source is not supplied. The luminaire is rated for a maximum of 35W, so lumen output, colour temperature, beam angle and dimmability depend on the light source you choose.
How much recess depth do I need?
That depends on the light source: a GU10 lamp and an LED module need different recess depths. The Core itself measures Ø70 × 18 mm. The cut-out is Ø80 mm; leaf springs hold the Rim behind a solid or hollow ceiling board, and the Ø90 mm Rim remains visible below the ceiling.
How does it differ from the Rim Deep and the Rim Smooth?
The Rim is the same: Ø90 mm, Ø80 mm cut-out, leaf springs. The difference is the Core, Ø70 mm on all three: on the Rim Flat it is 18 mm high, on the Rim Deep 34.2 mm and on the Rim Smooth 20 mm. Socket, IP rating and protection class are identical.
Does the black version differ technically from the white one?
No. Dimensions, cut-out, socket, leaf springs, IP rating and protection class are identical; only the colour of Rim and Core differs, and the price is the same. Against a light ceiling the black Rim stands out, the white one blends in.
