The mounting plate is screwed to the ceiling and the cylinder twists onto it; no cut-out is needed. Below the ceiling the luminaire measures Ø80 × 120 mm. The cylinder holds the Clickfit Smooth Medium IP54 recessed spotlight.

IP54, up to bathroom zone 2
A glass in front of the lamp protects against dust and splashing water. That makes the luminaire suitable for bathroom zone 2 and for sheltered outdoor areas. The Clickfit Smooth Medium Surface mounted downlight, without glass, is intended for dry indoor spaces.

Powder-coated aluminium in black
GU10 socket for one LED lamp with a 50 mm reflector diameter — the size the trade calls PAR16 — or an LED module, up to 35W; neither is supplied. Cylinder and spot are powder-coated aluminium: cylinder and spot in black. Cylinder in black or white, spot in black or white. 5-year warranty.

IP54 GU10 surface mounted downlight, Ø80 × 120 mm, black
IP54 means protected against dust and against splashing water from any direction; the glass in front of the lamp makes that possible. That is sufficient for bathroom zone 2 and for a sheltered outdoor area. Above the bath or shower rim, zone 1 applies with a stricter requirement; check that against the local wiring rules before you install.
The luminaire consists of the Clickfit Cylinder Medium and the Clickfit Smooth Medium IP54 recessed spotlight: the mounting plate is screwed to the ceiling, the cylinder twists onto it and the spot is held in the cylinder by leaf springs. The GU10 socket is designed for a 50 mm LED lamp or an LED module, not supplied, so you choose the colour temperature and beam angle yourself. Rated for a maximum of 35W.

Which light sources are compatible, and are they included?
The Clickfit Smooth Medium IP54 Surface mounted downlight has a GU10 socket for one LED lamp with a 50 mm reflector diameter, the size the trade calls PAR16, or for an LED module. Both click into the luminaire. The light source is not supplied. The luminaire is rated for a maximum of 35W, so lumen output, colour temperature, beam angle and dimmability depend on the light source you choose. In a damp room, pick a lamp rated for it.
What parts make up the Clickfit Smooth Medium IP54 Surface mounted downlight?
The Clickfit Cylinder Medium, a Ø80 × 120 mm aluminium surface mount housing, and the Clickfit Smooth Medium IP54 recessed spotlight.
