Aluminium in black
The luminaire is aluminium in black. Against a dark ceiling the luminaire stands out less. The white version has the same dimensions, the same GU10 socket and the same mounting. 5-year warranty.

Installation
Surface mounted on the ceiling, mounting disc Ø60 mm
You screw the Ø60 mm mounting disc to the ceiling, connect and fit the cylinder over it; no cut-out is needed. The luminaire measures Ø60 × 105 mm and shines straight down. Fixings and the manual are in the box.

Lamp
GU10 socket for a 50 mm LED lamp (PAR16)
One GU10 socket, for an LED lamp with a 50 mm reflector — the size the trade calls PAR16. Maximum load 7.5W. The lamp is ordered separately; output, colour temperature and beam angle come with the lamp you choose. Dimming works with a dimmable lamp and a matching dimmer.
Application
Connor Fix Surface mounted downlight in black: fixed Ø60 × 105 mm cylinder, shining straight down
You screw the Ø60 mm mounting disc to the ceiling, connect and fit the cylinder over it; no cut-out is needed. The luminaire measures Ø60 × 105 mm and shines straight down.
It connects to 230V without a driver, rated IP20 and Class I: indoor and dry. What the lamp delivers in output, colour temperature and beam angle is not set by the luminaire. The same cylinder comes in IP44, for indoor use and sheltered outdoor areas: the Connor Fix IP44.

What lamp does the Connor Fix Surface mounted downlight take?
The Connor Fix Surface mounted downlight has a GU10 socket for one lamp, ordered separately: an LED lamp with a 50 mm reflector — the size the trade calls PAR16. Maximum load 7.5W per socket. The same cylinder comes in IP44, for indoor use and sheltered outdoor areas: the Connor Fix IP44.
Can I use the Connor Fix in a bathroom?
No. The Connor Fix is rated IP20 and is for dry interiors only. For bathroom zone 2 and sheltered outdoor areas the same cylinder comes as the Connor Fix IP44.
Does the black Connor Fix Surface mounted downlight give less light than the white one?
No. On the Connor Fix Surface mounted downlight the light comes from the GU10 lamp you choose. The colour of the luminaire does not change the output: black and white give the same values with the same lamp. Black stands out less against a dark ceiling.
