160 mm ground spike, 1.5 m cable with plug
Push the ground spike into the soil and tilt the spot towards the object you want to light. The cable ends in an earthed plug: Class I, so an earthed socket outlet is required.

Light source
One GU10 socket, lamp not included
You choose the GU10 LED lamp yourself: up to 10W, with a 50 mm reflector diameter — the size the trade calls PAR16. Light colour, beam angle and dimming come from that lamp, not from the luminaire.

Finish
Black powder-coated aluminium, Ø100 mm spot
The spot measures Ø100 mm with a length of 90 mm, the ground spike 160 mm. IP65: dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction, with a 5-year warranty.
Application
Spike light for weatherproof outdoor use, IP65 and Class I
The Doran is intended for outdoor use: IP65 covers dust and water jets from any direction. Keep at least 0.5 m between the spot and the lit object. Class I is the check before installation: the plug is earthed and belongs in an earthed socket outlet.
The lamp is not in the box. One GU10 LED lamp of up to 10W is enough; that lamp determines the light colour, the beam and whether the assembly dims.

Where can the Doran be used?
Outdoors. The Doran is an IP65 spike light, intended for weatherproof use in the ground, not for indoor use.
Which lamp do I need?
One GU10 LED lamp of up to 10W, with a 50 mm reflector diameter — the size the trade calls PAR16. The lamp is not included with the Doran.
Is the Doran dimmable?
That depends on the lamp. The Doran has no driver of its own: with a dimmable GU10 lamp and a suitable dimmer the assembly dims; with a non-dimmable lamp it does not.
How is the Doran connected?
With the plug on its 1.5 m cable, into an earthed socket outlet. The Doran is Class I: the protective earth must be connected.
How far from the lit object must the Doran stand?
At least 0.5 m. That minimum distance is marked on the rating label of the Doran.
