Installation
On the ceiling, with a mounting bracket
The mounting bracket is screwed to the ceiling. During wiring the luminaire hangs from safety cords; it is then twisted onto the bracket. The driver is built in, and the luminaire connects directly to 230V mains; Class I.
Application
Ceiling light Ø300 mm, black, warm white 3000K
With 3600 lm from 36W and an opal diffuser, the Drum 300 gives even, low-glare light across its whole lit underside. The range comprises four round sizes, Ø120, Ø170, Ø220 and Ø300, and a linear 1200 mm version, all at 3000K.
The luminaire is IP22 and Class I, for indoor spaces without direct contact with water. It must not be covered with insulating material.

How is the Drum 300 Flush ceiling light installed?
The supplied mounting bracket is screwed to the ceiling and the supply cable is connected to the quick connector (live, neutral and earth). While it is being wired, the luminaire hangs from two safety cords; it is then pushed up against the ceiling and twisted onto the bracket.
Is the Drum 300 Flush ceiling light dimmable?
No. The built-in driver is not dimmable. Connect the luminaire to a standard switch, not to a dimmer.
Is the LED of the Drum 300 Flush ceiling light replaceable?
No. The LED is integrated and not replaceable; its rated life is 30000h. At the end of it the whole luminaire is replaced.
Can the Drum 300 Flush ceiling light be used in a bathroom or outdoors?
No. The Drum 300 Flush ceiling light is IP22 and intended for indoor spaces where the luminaire does not come into direct contact with water. Bathroom zones and outdoor use call for a luminaire with a higher IP rating.
Is the black Drum 300 as bright as the white one?
Yes. According to the EPREL product information sheet, both colours deliver 3600 lm at 36W and 3000K. The housing colour makes no difference.
