Installation
Surface mounted on the wall, 167 mm projection
Round Ø160 mm front with a 167 mm projection — the figure a specifier looks for. Class II, so no protective earth is needed. Being surface mounted, it fits solid and hollow walls alike.
-
Light
850 lm at 8W, 3000K, CRI 90
Integrated LED behind a Ø160 mm opal glass globe: an even surface rather than visible dots. 106 lm/W at system level, rated life 30000 hours. The LED is not replaceable — the luminaire is serviced as a whole, with a 5-year warranty.
-
Dimming
Leading edge and trailing edge
The on-board driver works with TRIAC and ELV dimmers. In practice that means no dimmer swap and no re-measuring — whatever the project already specifies will normally work.
Application
For indoor splash zones, up to bathroom zone 2
IP44 covers splashing water, not jets. That specifies the luminaire for bathrooms up to zone 2, hallways, stairwells and utility rooms. It is not intended for outdoor positions, not even under cover — those call for a luminaire qualified for outdoor use.
The black version is specified where the luminaire may read as a graphic element: on a pale wall, in a run along a corridor, in a stairwell. Against dark wall finishes it recedes instead.

Frequently asked questions
Questions we are regularly asked about this fixture and its variants.
Which bathroom zone is it rated for?
Up to zone 2. IP44 covers splashing water but not jets, so zones 1 and 0 are out. The luminaire is for indoor use only — an outdoor position, even under cover, calls for a luminaire qualified for that.
Which dimmer does it work on?
On leading-edge (TRIAC) and on trailing-edge (ELV). The driver is integrated; no external power supply is needed.
Is the LED replaceable?
No, the LED is permanently integrated. Rated life is 30000 hours; after that the luminaire is replaced as a whole. Warranty 5 years.
How far does it stand off the wall?
167 mm. The opal glass globe that forms the front is Ø160 mm; the mount brings the overall height to 167 mm. In narrow corridors the projection is the figure that governs.
Does the black version give less light?
No. Light leaves through the opal glass diffuser at the front; the housing colour does not change the photometry. All four finishes deliver 850 lm at 8W.
