Surface mounted on the wall, 71 × 66 mm mounting bracket
The mounting bracket comes loose in the box, together with wall plugs and screws. Screw the bracket to the wall first and connect the supply cable to the terminal block; then place the plaster body over the bracket and secure it with one screw. Class I, so a protective earth conductor is required.

Light source
One G9 socket, lamp not included
You choose the G9 LED lamp yourself; the luminaire is rated for a maximum of 20W. Light colour and dimming come from that lamp, not from the luminaire. The light leaves the luminaire at the top and at the bottom.

Finish
Paintable plaster, 180 × 90 × 100 mm
Untreated white plaster that can be painted over. IP20 for dry indoor areas, with a 5-year warranty on the luminaire.
Application
Horizontal plaster wall light for dry indoor areas, Class I
IP20: the luminaire is intended for dry indoor areas, not for bathrooms and not for outdoor use. Class I is the check before installation: a protective earth conductor must be present.
The lamp is not in the box. One G9 LED lamp is enough; the luminaire is rated for a maximum of 20W. That lamp determines the light colour and whether the assembly dims.

Can the Gypsy Oval be painted?
Yes. The Gypsy Oval is made of untreated plaster and is supplied to be painted over.
Which lamp do I need?
One G9 LED lamp. The Gypsy Oval is rated for a maximum of 20W. The lamp is not included.
Is this wall light dimmable?
That depends on the lamp. The Gypsy Oval carries no driver of its own: with a dimmable G9 lamp and a suitable dimmer the assembly dims; with a non-dimmable lamp it does not.
How large is the mounting bracket?
The bracket measures 71 × 66 mm and stands 18 mm off the wall. The 180 × 90 mm plaster body covers it completely.
Can the Gypsy Oval be used in a bathroom or outdoors?
No. The Gypsy Oval is IP20 and intended for dry indoor areas only.
