Installation
Ceiling or wall, no cut-out
The spot slides over a mounting bracket screwed to the ceiling or wall and is locked with a hex screw. It rotates 360° and tilts 90°. The driver is built in, and the luminaire connects directly to 230V mains; Class I.
Application
Surface spot Ø100 mm, black, extra warm white 2700K
This version delivers 1075 lm at 2700K with CRI 92; the 3000K version delivers 1268 lm, also at CRI 92. Both have the same 49° beam and draw 15.4W.
The spot is IP20 and Class I, for dry indoor spaces only, on the ceiling or on the wall.

How is the Nimis 1 Surface-mounted spotlight installed?
The supplied mounting bracket is screwed to the ceiling or wall, the wires are connected to the terminal block (live, neutral and earth) and the spot slides over the bracket. A hex screw locks it in place; the hex key, screws and plugs are in the box. No cut-out is needed.
Is the Nimis 1 Surface-mounted spotlight dimmable?
Yes. The driver is built into the luminaire, which connects directly to 230V mains, and works with phase-cut dimmers, leading-edge (TRIAC) as well as trailing-edge.
Is the LED of the Nimis 1 Surface-mounted spotlight replaceable?
No. The LED is integrated and not replaceable; its rated life is 30000h. At the end of it the whole luminaire is replaced.
Can the Nimis 1 Surface-mounted spotlight be used in a bathroom or outdoors?
No. The Nimis 1 Surface-mounted spotlight is IP20: protected against solid objects from 12.5 mm, not against water. It is intended for dry indoor spaces only.
Is the black Nimis 1 at 2700K as bright as the white one?
Yes. According to the EPREL product information sheet, both colours deliver 1075 lm at 2700K at 15.4W. The housing colour makes no difference.
