Powder-coated aluminium in black
Body and spot are powder-coated aluminium in black. Against a dark ceiling the luminaire is barely noticeable. The white version has the same dimensions, the same GU10 socket and the same mounting. 5-year warranty.

Installation
Clicks onto a 1-phase track, movable later
The adapter is fixed to the luminaire and clicks into the profile of a 1-phase 230V track. You drill nothing and wire nothing, so the layout stays open: a spot moves, gets added or comes out without any work at the ceiling. Below the track the luminaire hangs 153 mm, 19 mm of that the adapter. The track is a separate article.

Tube
Tube Ø42 × 114 mm, comes off without tools
The tube pulls off its spot. That is how you change the GU10 lamp without taking the luminaire apart, and the spot stays aimed where you set it. The same move swaps the tube for one in brushed brass, brushed bronze or gun metal — the separate Tuup Slim Tube, one per spot, not supplied.
Application
Track spotlight for 1-phase track, one GU10 spot, black
The Tuup Slim 1-Phase Track light has no fixed position: it clicks onto a 1-phase track with a built-in adapter and comes off the same way. Moving, adding or removing one takes no work at the ceiling. Below the track it hangs 153 mm, of which 19 mm is the adapter and 114 mm the Ø42 mm tube.
The spot draws its supply from the track and operates at 230V with no driver. IP20 and Class I: dry indoor spaces. The spot has a GU10 socket for a 35 mm LED lamp, known in the trade as MR11; output, colour temperature and beam angle come from that lamp and not from the luminaire. The track is a separate article.

What track does this spot fit?
A 1-phase 230V track. The adapter is fixed to the luminaire and clicks into the profile; you drill nothing and wire nothing. A 3-phase track has a different profile and a different adapter — this spot is not meant for it. The track itself is a separate article and is not in the box.
How far does the spot hang below the track?
153 mm below the profile. Of that, 19 mm is the adapter and 114 mm the Ø42 mm tube. Add those 153 mm to the height at which the track itself hangs; that sum is the clear height below the spot.
What lamp does this luminaire take?
One GU10 lamp, ordered separately: an LED spot with a 35 mm reflector — the size the trade calls MR11.
Can the finish be changed later?
The body stays white or black — that is the version you order. The tube does come off: they are sold separately as the Tuup Slim Tube in brushed brass, brushed bronze and gun metal, and there is a gold insert for the light opening. Allow one; those parts are not in the box.
Does the black version give less light?
No. The light comes from the GU10 lamps you choose yourself, and those are not supplied. The colour of the powder coating does not change the output — black and white give the same figures with the same lamps. What black does is make the spot less noticeable against a dark ceiling.
